Welcome to my about me page! My name is Emily Bryn, and I am the owner of Thistle and Dagger Photography. My main mission is to bring magic into the world, and make people fall in love with themselves again. I started my photography journey in high school doing portraits for friends and family. Right out of graduating, I enrolled into Hallmark Institute of photography in Turners Falls, MA where I elevated my skills and learned retouching, advanced lighting techniques and business surrounding photography, among other skills. Now, almost a decade later I have found my community and what I am most passionate about! Taking portraits and photographing weddings (with a focus in fantasy and fantasy weddings) for people like you who are captivated by the magic of creativity. The strange and unusual, and goofy goobers alike who want something a little more unique in their photography experience. I pride myself on my quirky personality and my ability to keep you laughing during our time together. I am your personal hype queen and always promise to be a space that is INCLUSIVE to ALL 🏳️‍🌈.
